    Community Canvasses

    Saturdays 10 am - 3 pm

CCLP volunteers receive training in door-to-door canvassing in neighborhoods of low-income workers to reach families impacted by the toxic contamination from the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, which is one of the worst environmental problems in the country. The canvasses inform and involve people to build a groundswell to force a full and thorough cleanup, and publicize CCLP’s law sessions, and recruit volunteers.

  • Two volunteers assembling printed material, one has green knitted hat and another has blue knitted hat.

    Mailouts and Phoning

CCLP relies on printed letters and publications to reach new volunteers, supporters and keep all informed of CCLP’s current programs and news. Volunteers are needed to assist with mailing these items. Volunteers are also needed for telephone sessions to contact lawyers and other volunteers to build strength through organization.
